WI FI (Wireless Networking)

You may be thinking that, since you’ve seen the TV ad, that you can connect your wifi laptop half way up Mount Everest or sitting on the ice at the Artic and get a broadband connection back to your loved ones in old blighty. A nice idea but reality is far removed from this.

From experience, wireless networking is not as straightforward or simple as it is made out to be. Even the new range of products that claim to work out of the box, with no technical knowledge, generally don’t. Just try them and let us know if it’s that simple.
